I really dig Jens style of lyrical content these songs are powerful in imagery "8 Days Down" reminds me of those days where a vacation is in check. "Full" has all the bells and whistles what we fear in relationships and acceptance,
"Try to Forget" is trying to let go of something we desire, while "Garden of Delight" takes us through a journey of sensual dreams of delight. Check out Jens new Ablum 8 Days Down we also talked about her current project Ninety Five tune in to find out more!

A Little Bit About Jen Elliot
I was raised in Jacksonville, Florida...but I've been in NYC for over 7 years now and my heart is very much here. After hearing a very raw live demo, City Canyons Records gave me a wonderful opportunity and we put out my debut album "The Secret's Out" in 2003. Since then, I've never looked back.
That album received Top 30 college radio airplay and critical acclaim by the press nationwide. The music has been featured in issues of Entertainment Today, The Sun Herald, Inside Connection and Keyboard Magazine. As Jen Elliott & Bluestruck, we performed at the Black Potatoe Festival 2005, NY Auto Show 2005, GoGirls Elite Showcase 2004, headlined at the Global Entertainment & Media Summits 2003/2004, and performed at MEANY Fest 2003...as well as performing at top venues in New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut. We also had a great time opening for the likes of Nils Lofgren, The Little River Band, and Nine Days.
However, I'm especially proud of our second album, "8 Days Down". We did several tours over the east coast to spread the good word. I even had the opportunity to bring the band back to my original hometown in Florida! Much love to all of the fans, podcasters, and radio stations who have supported us...your support for independent music makes a difference. Now, I'm happy to say that Anne Husick and I have created our very own love-child. A band called "Ninetyfive". I promise you'll be hearing more about that soon.
What did I forget? Oh. When I perform, I exclusively drink Jameson...and I can sing all 50 states in alphabetical order. My "day job" is working at NYC Guitar School, but really it's my other love.
